NovaLash Lash Extensions are a glamorous new way to extend the length and thickness of natural eyelashes, and are a practical, convenient and beautiful alternative to the daily use of mascara.  Unlike decades-old, traditional false lashes, lash extensions are the first innovation in lash lengthening that can be worn daily, without nightly removal.  Because each tapered, synthetic lash is bonded to a single natural lash, the final result is of effortless glamour and difficult to detect even close up. 1. What is the cost?

  • Full Set of Lashes: $300
  • Partial Set of Lashes: $150
  • Flares: $75
  • Maintenance: $65

2. How much time is required to get eyelash extensions?

  • Full Set of Lashes: about 2 hours
  • Partial Set of Lashes: about 1 hour
  • Flares: about 30 minutes

3. Are their different lengths for different looks?

Eyelash extensions come in different lengths and widths, as well as different level of curl.  The extensions are chosen to best suit your eyes and natural lashes.  The extensions can be trimmed if desired.

4. How are eyelash extensions applied?

They are applied using a special type of adhesive that is FDA approved for use with eyes. Each lash is applied to each of your individual natural lashes.

5. How long do eyelash extensions last?

They typically last four weeks, depending on how you care for them and when your eyelashes naturally shed.  Everyone’s lashes are different so you may need maintenance sooner.  With maintenance treatment, the eyelashes that have shed are filled in.

6. What kind of at home maintenance is recommended?

You shouldn’t get your eyes wet for 24 hours (i.e. no showers, washing your face, swimming, etc.) and its recommended to not scrub or rub your eyes extremely hard.  The less wear and tear on the eyes the longer the eyelashes will last. It is recommended that any mascara you use is glycol and carbonate free.

Additionally, it is recommended that lashes are conditioned nightly with NovaLash’s nighttime conditioning/cleansing pads as well as combed free of tangles with a lash wand.

7. Do eyelash extensions hurt your natural lashes?

No, the lashes are applied in a way that allows natural lashes to continue growing.

8. Can mascara be used with eyelash extensions?

Typically, mascara is unnecessary with NovaLash extensions.  However, you may want to use mascara as you get closer to needing maintenance. Repeated mascara use will shorten the lifespan of your lash extensions.  If you want to use mascara, make sure to use a product without  glycol or carbonate, and never use waterproof mascara.
