Sparkles grew up in Flint, MI where she was inspired by her mother who was considered a fashion icon at the time.  At the age of fourteen, she began styling hair for her family, neighborhood friends, and classmates which made her realize that she wanted to make it a career.  

Her passion and where she shines the most is in high fashion, editorial, and runway styling.  Her impressive portfolio includes styling for the Carolina Top Cats, some of NASCAR’s biggest names, cast members of America’s TV series Delilah, The Hunger Games and even celebrities like Solange Knowles, Beyone’s sister.
