MICROBLADING & MICROSHADING

Feel Confident About Your Brows.

Microblading and microshading has helped millions worldwide fall in love with their eyebrows.

What’s the difference between microshading and microblading?

Microshading is sometimes confused with microblading. But although both procedures can make your eyebrows appear fuller, they’re different procedures.

Microshading uses pin-like dots of pigmentation to achieve a powdered eyebrow look.

Microblading uses a bladed needle to apply pigmentation underneath the skin. Our technician fills your brows by making hair-like strokes that look like natural eyebrow hair.

The results? Realistic-looking brow hairs that don’t wash off.

Q&A with RĒ:

What to Expect?

Immediately after treatment brows will appear very dark & there will be redness around the brow area. The full healing process will take 1-2 weeks and the brows will lighten up to 60% after initial treatment.

A 6-week touch up is required to achieve the final finished look in any cosmetic make up service. After initial touch up, the brows may need a semi-annual or yearly touch up to keep the pigment & shape looking fresh & defined.

Dry skin, redness, & scabbing is expected & part of the healing process which last up to 1-2 weeks.

Puffy or raised skin, yellow discharge, or excessive warmth or redness in the treatment area past the 2-week healing period is abnormal and are signs of infection. This is to be treated immediately.

ATTENTION PLEASE:
We strongly advise prospective new clients to book their Microblading/Microshading appointments at least 3-4 months in advance of Vacations, Weddings, and Special Occasions.

This allows adequate time for healing of both your Initial Microblading/Microshading Appointment as well as a Touch-Up Enhancement Session 6-8 Weeks prior. To have perfect brows it is a multi step process. Dream brows cannot be achieved in just one session. Some clients need more than two sessions to achieve their desire density and shape.

How Long Does Microblading or Microshading Last?

The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will fade over time. Touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years maintain shape, color, and detail. How often depends on a number of factors including:

– Skin type (oily skin fades faster)

– Pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster)

– Sun exposure (over time can cause fading and discoloration of the pigment)

– Use of daily anti-aging products e.g.- (Tretinoin (Retin-A) & Alpha Hydroxy). These products increase your cell turnover rate and will shorten the life of your cosmetic tattoo

Does it Hurt?

We do all that we can to ensure that the process is as comfortable as possible. Before the Microblading/Microshading begins, a topical anesthetic is applied to the area to minimize discomfort, followed by a liquid anesthetic during the procedure. Some clients may feel a slight discomfort, but it’s relatively pain free for most.

(PLEASE NOTE: If you are a frequent smoker, or have your appointment during your menstrual cycle, the pain level could be intensified.)
